Abstract: This tutorial provides an overview and survey of applying operations modeling and analysis methodologies to address both aviation security tactical and strategic problems. A variety of models are presented that address specific and general aviation security issues. Several of these models have been presented to and used by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) in developing and refining aviation security system operations. Future directions for aviation security are also discussed.
